Location: Skipsea Primary School & Hornsea Burton Primary School

Hours: HLTA 14.00 hours per week (Tuesday/Wednesday PM only HB, Thursday/Friday FD at SKP), Term Time

Fixed Term: PPA cover until 11/02/24 however, this could be extended.

Overall Purpose of the job: To take classes for PPA cover across KS1 and KS2 (mainly in KS2).Minimum planning but own PPA cover to allow HLTA to prepare for lessons. Subjects to cover include French, RE, Music and English and Maths. Kapow and ILanguage schemes used and English and Maths planned. RE uses the Local Agreed syllabus and lesson outlines given.

To support the school and work with class teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils. To promote pupils’ independence, self-esteem and social inclusion and give support to pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning and experience a sense of achievement.
